MADANTS is a Warsaw-based production company founded in 2015 by Klaudia Śmieja-Rostworowska and Beata Rzeźniczek, later joined by Bogna Szewczyk-Skupień. The company focuses on independent, auteur-driven films with strong international potential, often produced in creative collaboration with leading European and global partners.
Madants has quickly established itself as one of Poland’s most internationally active producers, working with acclaimed filmmakers such as Claire Denis (High Life, TIFF, San Sebastian, A24), Agnieszka Holland (Mr. Jones, Berlinale), and Agnieszka Smoczyńska (The Silent Twins, Cannes). The company has co-produced award-winning films showcased at major festivals including Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Sundance, and Toronto.
Recent titles include Housekeeping for Beginners by Goran Stolevski (Venice) and Joika by James Napier Robertson, while upcoming projects involve collaborations with Carlos Reygadas, Kornél Mundruczó and Mia Hansen-Løve. Madants regularly facilitates international shoots in Poland, serving as a trusted local partner for high-end European co-productions.
